Astronomer Larry Molnar has made an unprecedented prediction of a star explosion, due in the year 2022 give or take one year, that will become visible from Earth. The star system is an eclipsing binary system. New evidence suggests that these two very close stars are getting closer and will merge explosively, soon. The announcement of a possible 'New Star' which may flare up to naked eye visibility in 2022, see Saturday's Daze, has caused quite a stir in the astronomical community, if not yet in the astrological world. The violent Mars square Pluto aspect which peaked on Wednesday was prelude to Mars squaring the UK natal Moon yesterday as a 'weather bomb' hit the UK. On Wednesday Astronomers reported they had detected a record seven Earth-sized planets orbiting a single star. All seven could potentially support liquid water on the surface, depending on the other properties of those planets.
