The astrology of David Cameron.

David Cameron in 2009

Written Dec 30th 2008

The year 2009 for David Cameron, leader of the British opposition, sees the 'double whammy' of Uranus in Pisces in conjunction with Cameron's natal Saturn and Saturn in Virgo in conjunction with his natal Uranus. This represents a very tricky and testing year for David.

On January 25th 2009 Jupiter squares his natal Mercury. The solar eclipse on Jan 26th is opposite his natal Moon and trine natal Venus. Not a good time for sound judgement.

The ongoing Saturn Uranus opposition is conjunct Cameron's natal Uranus in Feb 2009

Jupiter opposes Cameron's Moon on Feb 3rd 2009.

Jupiter trines Cameron's natal Venus on Feb 6th.

The lunar eclipse on Feb 9th is square Cameron's natal Neptune.

Saturn is conjunct with his natal Pluto for the second time on Feb 25th 2009.

The Full moon on March 11th is conjunct Cameron's natal Uranus. The next New Moon on March 26th is opposite Cameron's natal Venus, trine natal Moon.

Jupiter is trine David Cameron's Sun on March 13th 2009. this represents a much needed boost after the desperately difficult transits he has undergone so far in 2009.

The Jupiter Neptune conjunction in May, July and Dec 2009 is opposite David Cameron's natal Mars.

Uranus is conjunct David Cameron's natal Saturn for the first time on April 22nd 2009

The Full Moon on May 9th is sextile Cameron's natal Pluto.

The lunar eclipse on July 7th 2009 squares David Cameron's natal Sun.

The lunar eclipse on August 6th 2009 is trine David Cameron's natal Sun.

The New Moon on August 20th 2009 is conjunct Cameron's natal Mars. Saturn is conjunct his natal Uranus (for the final time) on August 21st 2009.

Uranus is conjunct David Cameron's natal Saturn for the second time on September 13th 2009.

Progressed Mars opposes progressed Saturn Sept 14th 2009. Saturn opposes his natal Saturn two days later on September 16th 2009.

Saturn enters Libra in late October 2009 David Cameron's Sunsign.

The New Moon on November 16th 2009 is trine David Cameron's Saturn.

Cameron's progressed waxing Moon in Pisces applies throughout 2009 to a trine aspect with his progressed Mercury which peaks in early June 2010.

Saturn is conjunct Cameron's natal Venus in Autumn 2010

By progression Mars is conjunct progressed Uranus in March 2011. Cameron's progressed Sun enters Sagittarius in April 2011. In fact 2011 looks very powerful for Cameron. With Saturn (then in Libra) conjunct his natal Sun.

Saturn is conjunct his natal Mercury in 2012.

His progressed Full Moon occurs in 2016.

David Cameron in 2008

Written Dec 31st 2007

In 2007 the natal horoscope of David Cameron was hit by a run of eclipse contacts. This run continues into 2008. The Annular Solar Eclipse on February 7th squares David's natal Lunar Nodal axis, two weeks later a Total Lunar Eclipse on February 21st 2008 falls 4 degrees from his natal Mars in Leo and then on 1st August 2008 the Total Solar Eclipse is conjunct his natal Leo Moon. These are very important times for this man. Eclipses 'stir things up'.

His progressed Moon in Aquarius squares both his progressed Mercury and his progressed Neptune in February 2008. Jupiter squares his natal Sun and Saturn sextiles his Scorpionic Mercury at that time. His progressed Moon (still fresh and brimming with the effects of his last progressed eclipsed New Moon), is at her first quarter phase in the summer of 2008 and enters Pisces on 21st October 2008, immediately squaring progressed Venus.

February looks important and the year starts with Jupiter in Capricorn squaring his natal Sun in late January 2008.

Summer of 2008 is the time of a 'crisis in action' for David Cameron. The theme of the year for him is reorientation.

2008 is a forerunning year to tumultuous years ahead.

Saturn in Virgo is conjunct Cameron's natal Uranus Pluto conjunction in 2009.

(written Dec. 27th 2005)

The chart above is that of David Cameron the leader of the Conservative party from December 2005. The time of birth is not totally reliable.

Cameron was born close to the astrologically famous 1966 conjunction of Uranus and Pluto in Virgo. With a Libran Sun, (and probably Libran ascendant) and a pleasant Venus in Libra this man comes across as a charmer. Women especially appear find him 'sweet'. Such is the Libran energy of this man.

His natural leadership quality is indicated by his Moon in Leo, and by Mars in Leo (not strongly aspected it must be said), his mind (as shown by natal Mercury in Scorpio) is penetrative and strong The Pluto/Uranus conjunction was opposed and harnessed by their opposition to Saturn in Pisces, ( a deeply compassionate side to his personality). This man is the new force in UK politics, his astrological credentials seek to revolutionise his party and maybe his country.

Jupiter by transit was conjunct his Scorpio Mercury in November 2005. This conjunction occurred as Conservative party members were busy voting for him in the leadership election.

Saturn by transit was conjunct his Leo Moon in September 2005, and will repeat the contact in February 2006, and in May 2006. This Saturn transit seems to have eased him into office and into the leadership chair. It is interesting to note that Saturn is conjunct his natal Mars (a single hit) in August 2007. At that time with a general election looming in the UK it will be interesting to observe what happens to this politician.

David Cameron was born a month or so before an eclipse season in the autumn of 1966. His first progressed Full Moon was a penumbral lunar eclipse. His following progressed New Moon which he experienced on 28th Feb. 2001 corresponded to the Total Solar Eclipse in Scorpio (on the Conservative Party's natal Sun!) on November 12th in 1966. This was a big one. Cameron is now under it's sway. Currently his progressed Moon is waxing crescent in phase, in Capricorn, she enters Aquarius on May 10th 2006 and will reach First quarter phase in the summer of 2008. A shining stage awaits him. This man's destiny at this moment in time appears very strong.

Between the start of his leadership bid in 2005 and the date of the next general election in the UK (presumably 2008 or 2009) there are a series of eclipses which fall on sensitive points in Cameron's chart. On October 3rd 2005 the Annular Solar Eclipse at 10 degrees Libra made a wide contact with his natal Venus. His popularity was set on fire at that time at the Conservative party conference.

Another annular Solar Eclipse on September 22nd 2006 falls very close to his ascendant.

In 2007, the partial Solar Eclipse on March 19th is less than 3.5 degrees from his natal Saturn.

On September 11th 2007 another partial eclipse contacts his natal Pluto.

In 2008 the Annular Solar Eclipse on February 7th squares his natal nodal axis, two weeks later a Total Lunar Eclipse on February 21st 2008 falls 4 degrees from his natal Mars and then on 1st August 2008 the Total Solar Eclipse is conjunct his natal Moon.

These set of eclipses almost guarantee a cosmically busy time.
