The Ealing car bomb incident.
Police say a car bomb that injured seven people in west London was the work of Irish dissidents planning "mass murder". The bomb - which contained up to 40 kg of home-made explosive - blew up near Ealing Broadway railway station seconds after midnight at the start of Friday August 3rd 2001.

A threatening phone call was made at 2333 BST on Thursday to an on-call doctor service and the device exploded as police were searching for the vehicle.
