This is the final astrological review on this web site of George W Bush as he completes his final presidential term.
His waxing progressed Moon is currently (2007 to 2009) is 'besieged' in Capricorn being square progressed Neptune at the end of 2007, square progressed Mars in October 2008 and square progressed Jupiter mid 2009. Fortune frowns on this nativity in 2008.
Neptune is opposing natal Venus all through 2008 from Aquarius. Jupiter opposes his natal Sun all year from Capricorn. These are astrological indications of confusion and over estimation.
The most significant month for George Bush is August 2008. The Total Solar Eclipse on the 1st Aug. 2008 at 10 degrees Leo directly hits Bush's natal Mercury Pluto conjunction. Four weeks later the New Moon in Virgo hits his natal Mars. In between these two lunations Jupiter opposes his natal Sun (the 2nd of 3 hits in 2008) and more significantly Saturn is conjunct his natal Mars on August 13th. It may well be that these set of astrological events are life changing. This period may well herald and colour the end of his long presidency.
The Full Moon in October is on his natal MC, the 2008 US Presidential Election follows shortly after.

The progressed Moon of George Bush has been in Sagittarius since the Autumn of 2004. This waxing progressed Moon finally sextiles progressed Venus on Feb.. 21st 2007 and then is void of course before entering Capricorn on April 20th 2007. She then goes on to trine progressed Mercury on Aug.. 8th and square progressed Neptune on Dec. 2nd 2007. As George Bush sails through the remaining two years of his final term in office he may respond to this progressed lunar influence by nurturing a more pragmatic and realistic view of both his life and the destiny of his country. His 'swashbuckling' era symbolized by progressed Moon in Sagittarius will soon give way to a new conservation and a new realism. The issue of 'global warming' may replace the 'war on terrorism' as the main thrust of his government.
Saturn in Leo is conjunct his natal Venus on Feb.. 12th and June 22nd 2007. The first transit occurred in Oct. 2006. We have already witnessed a more sober and realistic admission that much US foreign policy requires truthful appraisal. We have already seen a reduction in his political influence in Congress and in the Senate at home. Expect more of the same, there also may be a retraction from the policy of 'staying the course' in Iraq.
There may be a confusion and a lack of clear vision from this president as Neptune opposes Saturn in the skies of Earth in 2007 and of course opposes his natal Venus. April 2007, July 2007 and Feb. 2008 mark the times of this opposition for him.
Times are moving on now for this US president. America is looking forward to the 2008 election. The time of this election (November 4, 2008) sees an exact opposition of Saturn and Uranus at 19 degrees Virgo-Pisces (the solar eclipse degree of September 2007). Three month before this election Saturn will be conjunct George Bush's natal Mars in Virgo. The final blow of his long administration may well occur then.

George Bush's progressed Moon is a waxing crescent Moon in Scorpio entering Sagittarius on 5th October 2004 and arriving at progressed First Quarter Phase in late August 2005. We are considering a man still with his 'life tides' coming in, he may still have a large part to play on the world stage. His major destiny is still ahead of him.
Jupiter is conjunct Bush's natal Mars in Virgo in April and May 2004. This conjunction occurred in October 2003. This contact may well infuse his spirit with vigour.
Saturn is conjunct his natal Sun in Cancer, once only on 14th June 2004. This is the most important planetary transit for George in 2004 and its effect may be enough to thwart ambition and power. If he passes through this period unabashed he could well go on to re-election in November, on the other hand this transit could stop him in his tracks. It is interesting to note that Saturn also crosses over the USA's natal Sun during June 2004.
George Bush has his 2nd Saturn return this year. Saturn will occupy the same position as it occupied on his birthday three times in 2004/2005. The 8th October 2004, the 8th of December 2004, and 18th June 2005 are the three dates for this Saturn return. This certainly is a period of reckoning for George Bush.
At the time of the US presidential election in November 2004, George W. Bush has transiting Pluto trine his natal Venus and Jupiter making favourable aspects to Mercury and Neptune. With his waxing progressed Moon entering Sagittarius the month before and starting to make a fiery trine to progressed Saturn these indications are positive for a second term of office.

George W Bush has his progressed Moon, at waxing crescent phase in Scorpio. This is a brooding and dark episode in his life story, during which he will have his maximum influence on the world stage. His progressed Moon will be at First Quarter Phase, in Sagittarius, in 2005. In 2003 this Crescent Moon is besieged, being square to progressed Pluto in April 2003 and applying square to progressed Mercury during the rest of the year. This is no easy time for him. At the start of the year George W Bush is at the end of Neptune opposite his natal Mercury which has been afflicting his life for most of 2002 (see below). Neptune makes its final blow opposite his Mercury in early Jan 2003, the height of 'delusion' may well be reached at this time. Also Jupiter will be conjunct his natal Mercury, which hit first in September 2002, and hits again in March 2003 and in May 2003. Expansionism, grandiose scheming and uncompromising acts may well color this period.
In July, Jupiter is conjunct his natal Venus, a 'one off' transit, certainly an interesting time to watch. The next big transit is in 2004 when Saturn, then in Cancer, is conjunct his natal Sun, and a full reaping of 'Karmic forces' can be expected.

Transiting Neptune will be opposite George's Natal Mercury throughout 2002 and into 2003. With his progressed Crescent Moon entering Scorpio on April 11th 2002, we suddenly have the awareness of the potentially fiercesome nature of the events and experiences that this period may bestow upon the man. Fired up on his own declared war on terrorism and hopelessly at the mercy of transiting Neptune opposite his natal Leonine Mercury (the two planets were sextile at birth), we are confronted by a truly worrying set of possibilities. We may well see another, even more wilful side of George W. Bush from April 2002 as his progressed Moon enters Scorpio. From November 18th 2001 after his progressed Moon was conjunct Jupiter in Libra till April 11th 2002 when his progressed Moon enters Scorpio there is a brief 'void of course' period. On 26th July 2002 this Scorpionic Moon is square progressed Saturn, she then sails on over a twelve month application to a square with Pluto. The Moon is under beseigement. Furthermore Bush's progressed Mars is square his Natal Sun in the spring of 2002. The Annular Solar Eclipse on June 10th is conjunct his natal Uranus/ North Lunar Node conjunction. The Jupiter Neptune opposition in the skies on September 11th 2002 is aligned directly to Bush's natal Mercury Pluto Conjunction.
The early part of the year is dominated by a series of lunations directly hitting Bush's astrological natal chart. The Full Moon on 28th January 2002 in Leo is conjunct his natal Mercury. The following Full Moon in Virgo tightly square Saturn on Feb. 27th 2002 is conjunct his natal Mars. The Full Moon on March 28th 2002 in Libra in grand airy trine with Saturn and Neptune is conjunct his natal Neptune. The New Moon on April 12th in Aries conjunct Mercury is conjunct his natal MC. Dynamic, eventful, concentrated, such is this Man's immediate destiny.

Born six hours after first quarter Moon in Libra applying conjunction Jupiter. Sun in Cancer, Mercury, conjunct Pluto in Leo, Venus in Leo, Mars in Virgo. All the planet grouped within a third of the skies, rising and culminating. This chart is of 'high summer', the tides of fate coming in.
This man, a Cancerian, is at heart deeply vulnerable, but by fate and fortune, is protected by the pride, by the clan. The chart emphasises Leo, three planets and the Ascendant there, and Libra, Neptune Moon and Jupiter there. This chart is of the dancing performer, both puppet master and puppet. THE YEAR 2001 AND BEYOND.(written early 2001)
The year 2001 sees Uranus opposite natal Venus, Neptune conjunct the Descendant, progressed Moon in Libra at Crescent phase, and Jupiter conjuncting natal Sun starting in the Autumn 2001 and extending into 2002 The Uranus transit will splatter a series of surprises on his year, the peak times of this transit are in February, September and December 2001. February 17th to 21st 2001 sees both Uranus and Neptune active in his chart. The Neptune transit and the oppositions of this planet to Bush's natal planets in Leo will be the bane of much confusion and uncertainty which may colour this mans first few years in presidential office. December 2001 looks very important for George W Bush .
The period up to May 2002 will be influenced by Bush's progressed Moon in Libra. This time is described as a diplomatic and bridge building episode. As his progressed Moon slips into Scorpio we can possibly expect to see a more wilful and darker demonstration of his power.

The Sun was conjunct Reglius, heart of the Lion, at the mid point in time and space of the births of these two world leaders. Moon in Cancer, Mercury was in Virgo, Mars in Cancer.
